A fuzzy logic-entropy weight method for comprehensive impact evaluations of hydropower stations

The operation and management of hydropower stations significantly influence the hydrodynamic water quality conditions, which in turn exert large impacts on environment ecology. In this paper, a novel fuzzy logic-EWM (Entropy Weight Method) approach is proposed to perform comprehensive impact evaluations. Based natural humanistic conditions Taizi River Basin, four criterion layers economy, ecology, society, are determined. evaluation method used calculate weight layer, each index under layer Further, entropy model index, compared with indicator, as obtained by experts. results showed that subjective objective were consistent; accuracy was also acceptable. study provided new promising tool for fast evaluations stations, case studies can provide experience coastal regions.
